Loan App Philippines With Low Interest Rate: How We Reviewed These Options

Finding a loan app philippines with low interest rate is harder than it looks, because the rate is only one part of what you pay. For each option we checked who is lending, what the provider publishes about interest and fees, the loan size and term, the requirements, and how you repay. We used the provider's own published information and official regulator records. Information was checked in October 2026. Rates and fees change and many depend on your profile, so the Disclosure Statement you receive before you accept is the document that applies to you. This site does not make loans, and the order of the list reflects how clearly each provider publishes its costs and regulator details, not a ranking by cost. Read our guide to loan interest and costs in the Philippines for the basics.

What Counts as a Loan App With Low Interest Rate?

There is no single number that makes a loan app with low interest rate. What counts as low depends on the amount, the term, the fees, and the way interest is charged. A rate charged on the full original amount costs more than the same rate on the remaining balance, a processing fee deducted upfront lowers the cash you receive, a longer term lowers each payment but usually raises the total cost, and a 0% offer can still carry fees. Learn the difference in effective interest rate vs add-on rate.

For certain small, short-term loans from lending and financing companies (₱10,000 or less, up to four months, no collateral), SEC ceilings effective April 1, 2026 cap nominal interest at 6% per month and total monthly cost at 12%, with a 5% monthly late penalty on the overdue amount and total charges capped at 100% of the amount borrowed. Other loans are not covered by these specific ceilings. To compare offers fairly, use the same amount and term for each and look at net proceeds, total repayment and the effective rate, as shown in how to compare loan costs.

Top 10 Legit loan app philippines with low interest 2026

Before you apply to any of them, confirm the company with our steps to verify a lending company in the Philippines.

1

GCash GLoan: Loan App With Low Interest Rate Inside GCash

A personal loan inside the GCash app, paid into your wallet. GCash states that it is regulated by the BSP; check the lending entity named in your disclosure.

AmountAmounts ₱500 to ₱150,000Published rate1.59% to 6.99% per month

GCash's help center lists amounts of ₱500 to ₱150,000, interest of 1.59% to 6.99% per month based on eligibility and term, a 3% to 5% processing fee deducted from the loan, and late charges of 1% of the loan amount per missed due date plus 0.15% of the outstanding balance per day. Pay through the in-app dashboard (instant) or Pay Bills (up to 3 business days). GCash also lists GLoan Sakto for ₱100 to ₱500 at 0% interest with an 8% processing fee deducted upon repayment, and says you may get an interest cashback if you pay in full at least one month before the due date. Our guide on how loan repayment works, including GCash and Maya explains the payment steps.

Good to know: The 1.59% rate is the low end of a range, and the upfront fee means you receive less than you borrow.

2

UNO Digital Bank: Personal Loan With Terms Up to 36 Months

The #UNOnow personal loan from UNObank, Inc., a bank regulated by the BSP with PDIC-insured deposits.

Amount₱15,000 to ₱250,000Published rateAdd-on from 1.79% per month

Loans run from ₱15,000 to ₱250,000 over 6 to 36 months, with a monthly add-on rate as low as 1.79% (APR 35.78% to 37.54%). UNO's own table shows an effective rate of 45.42% to 57.22% per year for a ₱100,000 loan with a ₱3,000 processing fee. The processing fee is 3% or ₱500, whichever is higher, deducted from proceeds. Late fee: 5% of the unpaid installment or ₱500, whichever is higher. UNO asks for a Filipino aged 21 to 65 at maturity with at least ₱20,000 gross monthly income, one valid ID and a selfie. Payments are debited from your UNO savings account, so keep enough funds in it before the due date, and UNO allows one active loan at a time. A pre-termination fee of 3% of the unbilled amount or ₱300, whichever is higher, applies.

Good to know: The add-on rate is the starting point; the APR and effective rate are higher. See effective interest rate vs add-on rate.

3

Home Credit: Cash Loan With a Published Effective Rate

A consumer finance company offering cash loans and installments. HC Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc. discloses SEC Registration No. CS201301354 and Certificate of Authority No. 1071, and says it is regulated by the SEC and the BSP.

AmountUp to ₱150,000 (app listing)Published rate1.49% to 8.99% nominal per month

Its disclosure page lists Cash Loan nominal interest of 1.49% to 8.99% per month, an average monthly effective rate of 3.89% in its sample, a processing fee of up to ₱500, and conditional charges such as ₱300 for early repayment. Late fees reach up to ₱1,000 at 60 days, and a termination fee of 40% of the outstanding principal applies at 90 days past due. Other published charges include a Loan Extra Care Fee of up to ₱99 per month and a Borrower Protection charge of up to ₱500 per month, both conditional, and ₱300 for early repayment or changing a due date. Late fees reach up to ₱300 at 5 days, up to ₱700 at 30 days and up to ₱1,000 at 60 days. Read late payment fees and consequences before you borrow.

Good to know: The rate range is wide, so your offer may be far from the lowest figure. Its app listing shows a slightly different fee structure, so rely on your Loan Disclosure Statement.

4

Maya: Easy Credit and Personal Loan

Two products from Maya Bank, a BSP-supervised digital bank: Easy Credit, a short-term credit line, and Maya Personal Loan, a fixed-term loan.

AmountUp to ₱30,000 / ₱15,000 to ₱250,000Published rateService fee from 3.99% / add-on sample 0.83%

Easy Credit lists up to ₱30,000 with up to 30 days to pay, no interest, and a service fee from 3.99% of principal subject to credit evaluation. The Personal Loan shows offers of ₱15,000 to ₱250,000, and Maya's sample for ₱25,000 over 6 months uses a 0.83% monthly add-on rate. Maya lists a late fee of 0.17% of unpaid principal per day on its borrowing pages. Pay from the app, at Maya Center, or by auto-deduction. You can pay from the Maya app, at Maya Center or by auto-deduction from your Maya wallet on the due date. Paying an Easy Credit bill early can refresh your available limit, which is specific to that product.

Good to know: Easy Credit has no interest, but the service fee is the cost. Confirm your limit in the app, since Maya's pages have shown different limits.

5

BillEase: Installment Plans With 0% Options

Mainly a buy now, pay later and installment app. First Digital Finance Corporation discloses SEC Registration No. CS201516347 and a finance company Certificate of Authority No. 1101, and says the BSP regulates it as an operator of a payment system.

Amount₱500 to ₱50,000Published rate0% to 3.49% per month

Its app listing states monthly interest of 0% to 3.49%, an annual percentage rate of 0% to 36%, service charges of 0% to 10%, amounts of ₱500 to ₱50,000 and terms of 2 to 12 months. The 0% plans apply to selected partner merchants. Because it is mainly an installment product, it works differently from a straight personal loan. The app shows the installment amount before you confirm, so compare the total repayment.

Good to know: The range is wide. Compare the service charge and total repayment, not only the monthly rate.

6

Tonik Digital Bank: Bank Quick Loan Up to ₱50,000

A BSP-licensed digital bank with PDIC-insured deposits and a Quick Loan of up to ₱50,000.

AmountUp to ₱50,000Published rateAdd-on 4.18% to 4.26% per month

Tonik's help pages list monthly add-on rates of 4.26% (6 months), 4.18% (9 months) and 4.20% (12 months) and an APR of 84%. As a hypothetical example, ₱25,000 over 6 months at 4.26% costs ₱6,390 in interest, a total of ₱31,390 and about ₱5,231.67 per month, an effective monthly rate of roughly 6.9% by our estimate. Tonik also offers a Credit Builder Loan and an installment loan for purchases. Its deposits are insured by the PDIC up to ₱1 million per depositor.

Good to know: Tonik's rates are not low compared with other options here. Its appeal is that it is a bank and needs no collateral.

7

Cashalo: Small Cash Loan App

A cash loan app for small loans, operated by Paloo Financing, Inc. (SEC Registration No. CS201800209, Certificate of Authority No. 1162).

Amount₱1,000 to ₱13,000Published rate12% effective per month (covered loans)

Cashalo says loans start at ₱1,000 and are capped at ₱13,000 for good-paying customers. For loans of ₱10,000 or less, up to 4 months, without collateral, it states an effective rate of 12% per month (0.2% daily interest plus 0.2% daily service fee), following the SEC ceilings effective April 1, 2026. Cash-out goes to a bank, GCash or Maya. Cashalo lists the SEC limits for covered loans as 6% monthly interest, 12% total monthly cost, a 5% monthly late penalty on the overdue amount, and total charges capped at 100% of the amount borrowed. It says approval can take as little as 1 working day and proceeds are credited in 1 to 3 days.

Good to know: 12% per month is the highest effective rate the SEC ceiling allows for covered loans, so Cashalo's published rate is at the cap, not below it.

8

Zuki: Personal Loan App by SB Finance

The zukì app from SB Finance, Inc. (SEC Registration No. CS0017174A, Certificate of Authority No. 1142), regulated by the SEC and supervised by the BSP. It offers personal, salary and motorcycle loans.

AmountVaries by productPublished rateNot published on home page

You register with one ID and a selfie, and SB Finance says there are no application fees. It does not show a single rate on its home page, so rates depend on the product and your offer. SB Finance also publishes a warning page to help customers protect themselves from fraudsters, a useful reminder to follow our checklist of loan app scam warning signs. For requirements, see loan requirements and eligibility in the Philippines.

Good to know: Ask for your offer and check net proceeds, total repayment and the effective rate before you accept.

9

JuanHand: Online Loan With One Valid ID

A personal loan app operated by WeFund Lending Corp. (SEC Registration No. CS201825672, Certificate of Authority No. 2844) offering up to ₱50,000 per its website.

AmountUp to ₱50,000Published rateAs low as 0.025%, period not stated

JuanHand states an interest rate as low as 0.025% without giving the period on its home page, and says it charges no processing fees. Its app store listing shows a sample computation with a service fee, so read the Disclosure Statement. It asks for a mobile number and one valid ID and lists repayment through 7-Eleven, GCash, RD Pawnshop and M Lhuillier. Funds can be sent to listed e-wallets or banks, and JuanHand lists repayment through 7-Eleven, GCash, RD Pawnshop and M Lhuillier using a unique repayment code. It also advertises interest-free first installment offers for some applicants. See valid IDs commonly used for loan applications for what to prepare.

Good to know: JuanHand warns that it never asks for fees to process a loan. Treat any such request as a scam sign.

10

Tala: Personal Loan App for First-Time Borrowers

A personal loan app operated by Tala Financing Philippines Inc. (SEC Registration No. CS201710582, Certificate of Authority No. 1132).

AmountFrom ₱1,000 to ₱25,000Published rateNot published

Tala does not publish a single rate on the page we reviewed; fees depend on loan amount and term, and its starting loans range from ₱1,000 to ₱25,000. Tala says it uses alternative data and that you do not need a credit history to apply. Tala lists e-wallets, bank transfers and cash pickup for receiving a loan, and e-wallets such as GCash and Maya plus partners such as 7-Eleven and Cebuana Lhuillier for repayment. If you are new to borrowing, see getting a loan with no credit history.

Good to know: Tala's own guide notes that online loan rates in the Philippines commonly run from 9% to 15% per month, so check your personal offer before you accept.

Personal Loan, Credit Line or Installment: Which Type Is It?

These ten are not all the same product. A personal loan gives a fixed amount repaid on a schedule. A credit line, like Maya Easy Credit, lets you borrow up to a limit and repay in a short period. An installment plan, like BillEase, spreads a purchase over months. Banks (UNO, Tonik, Maya) follow BSP rules, while lending and financing companies follow SEC rules. See loan requirements and eligibility in the Philippines for what each type usually asks.

Loan App With Low Interest and Long Term Philippines: What to Check

If you want a loan app with low interest and long term in the Philippines, a longer term lowers each payment but usually raises the total cost. On a hypothetical ₱8,000 loan at 3% per month on the original amount, 4 months costs ₱960 in interest while 6 months costs ₱1,440. Among the options above, UNO Digital Bank lists terms of 6 to 36 months. Run your own numbers with our guide to calculate your total loan repayment, and plan payments with our loan repayment guide.

Requirements to Prepare Before You Apply

Most apps ask for a valid ID, a mobile number, a selfie check and income details; banks may ask for payslips or tax records. Read valid IDs commonly used for loan applications and make sure your details match your ID. If you are new to borrowing, see loan requirements and eligibility first.

How to Tell a Legit Loan App From a Scam

A legit lender names its company, shows its SEC registration and Certificate of Authority (or is a BSP-supervised bank), and never asks for a payment before releasing a loan. Be careful with "guaranteed approval" and with sites that only compare offers: a comparison platform is not a lender, so the lender behind each offer needs its own check. Learn the loan app scam warning signs and read our loan app safety guide.

Repaying Your Loan: Payment Channels and Late Fees

Use only the payment details your lender provides, keep every receipt, and pay early when a channel is not instant. Missing a due date adds charges and may affect your record. See our loan repayment guide and late payment fees and consequences.

FAQs

Which loan app has the lowest interest in the Philippines?

No single figure answers this. Published rates use different methods (add-on, diminishing balance, fees deducted upfront), so the effective interest rate and total repayment are better measures. Use the table above as a starting point, then compare your own offers using our guide to how to compare loan costs.

Are these loan apps legit and SEC-registered?

Each provider here discloses SEC or BSP details, and we checked the identity each one publishes. Banks are supervised by the BSP, while lending and financing companies need an SEC Certificate of Authority. Always confirm the current status yourself with the steps in our guide to verify a lending company in the Philippines.

Is there an online loan with a low interest rate in the Philippines?

Several providers above lend entirely through an app. A low quoted rate is not the same as a low-cost loan, so check fees and the effective rate. The SEC also sets ceilings for certain small, short-term loans from lending and financing companies.

Can I get a cash loan fast in the Philippines?

Some providers advertise quick decisions, but timing depends on the lender, your documents and the payout channel. Never pay a fee to receive a loan; see loan app scam warning signs.

Is there a loan app with low interest and a long term in the Philippines?

Some providers offer terms of 24 to 36 months, such as UNO Digital Bank (6 to 36 months). A longer term lowers each payment but usually raises the total cost, so compare total repayment before you choose.

Can I get a personal loan with low interest from an app?

Yes, several options here are personal loans, but the rate you receive depends on your profile. Published low rates are often the best case, not the typical one.

Are these loan apps free?

This guide is free to read, but loans are never free. Interest, processing or service fees, and late charges apply. A 0% offer can still carry fees, so check the total repayment.

Who can apply for GCash GLoan?

GLoan is offered to eligible GCash users, and GCash says your amount and rate depend on your eligibility. Check your offer inside the app.

Can I repay a loan through GCash or Maya?

It depends on the lender. Some accept GCash or Maya as a payment channel; always use the biller details the lender gives you. See how to calculate your total loan repayment and our repayment guide for steps.

What do I need to apply?

Usually a valid ID, a mobile number, and proof or declaration of income, depending on the lender. Banks may ask for more. See loan requirements and eligibility in the Philippines.

What happens if I miss a payment?

Late fees apply, and unpaid accounts may affect your credit record. Contact the lender early. Read late payment fees and consequences.

How do I report a harassing lending app?

Keep screenshots and records, then report to the SEC for lending or financing companies, the BSP for banks, or the NPC for misuse of personal data. See how to report abusive loan collection practices.
